Specttrum News (Kulbir S Kalsi): A Blood Donation Camp was organized by the Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association, the Blood Contributors Club and the High Court Employees’ Union, in collaboration with the Rotary & Blood Bank Society Resource Centre, Chandigarh.  

The camp was received with an overwhelming response with great number units of bloods donated on this special occasion. What was ever more encouraging was the fact that litigants and other visitors to the High Court premises also participated actively in promoting the noble cause.

The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Justice SJ Vazifdar, Acting Chief Justice of the Punjab & Haryana High Court, alongwith his companion judge, Justice Rameshwar Singh Malik. Justice Vazifdar was amongst the first to donate blood and set an example for all to emulate and follow.

Harpreet Singh Brar (President), G.B.S. Dhillon (Vice President), Sumit Jain (Secretary) and the entire Executive Committee of the Punjab & Haryana High Court Bar Association also participated actively in furthering such a noble cause by donating blood.

The members of Punjab & Haryana High Court Employees’ Union and the Clerks’ Association also came forward enthusiastically to make the Blood Donation Camp success.


Mr Jain said, "Such Blood Donation Camps are a regular feature in the High Court and the Camps are organized in the High Court premises after every three months."
