Specttrum News (Kulbir Kalsi): The sudden disappearance of Satguru Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj has left every devotee of the Sant Nirankari Mission shocked and shaken. Even their complete trust in God and deep sense of accepting the divine will seem to be wavering under the strain it is causing.

No doubt, the devotees believe that Satguru in his formless form is ever with them and is beyond death, but the love and care they received from Baba Hardev Singh during the past 36 years is something they are failing to suppress.

This could be witnessed on Tuesday right from the moment the mortal remains of Baba landed in Delhi, to their arrival at Baba Ji’s residence and then being placed in Samagam Ground No. 8 near Sant Nirankari Colony for Antim Darshan by thousands of devotees assembled from Chandighar, Manimajra, Mohali, Panchkula and other parts of the country.

It may be recalled that Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh merged into the Almighty God in a car crash near Montreal in Canada on May 13, 2016. His son-in-law Avneet Setya also succumbed to injuries later the same day. His mortal remains too reached Delhi by the same flight and are displayed for Antim Darshan.

Thousands of devotees have already started marching past the bodies and having the last glimpse. Earlier, after receiving the bodies at airport, they were brought to Baba’s residence where the members of the holy family, their relatives and senior Parbandhaks and Pracharaks of the Mission assembled from across the country and several places abroad paid their respects.

The Antim Darshan will continue round the clock upto the Wednesday morning, after which they will be taken to Nigam Bodh Ghat for last rites.

The last journey will start at 8 AM and conclude at Nigam Bodh Ghat, where cremation will take place at CNG Crematorium at 12 Noon. Later, a special congregation will be held in Samagam Ground No. 2 opposite Sant Nirankari Sarovar Complex, Burari Road to pay tributes to Baba and take inspiration from the life of Avneet Setya.
