Specttrum News: Keeping in view the interest of thousands of Kashmiri students, Aryans Group of Colleges, Chandigarh, has requested the Spicejet airlines to continue with the Chandigarh–Srinagar flight, which is going to be halted.


As per a recent news, Spicejet has decided to withdraw the airlines services of Delhi-Chandigarh-Srinagar flight-320 from 13 August due to the off season.


This flight takes off from Chandigarh airport at 2:30 pm to Srinagar and flies at 5:30 pm from Chandigarh to Delhi. More than 300 passengers travel through this flight.


Dr Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group said that as things are getting better in the Kashmir Valley, students have started moving back to their campuses. JK students are much dependent on this flight due to its affordable fare, direct air connectivity and less time consumption.


Kataria further added that majority of JK students are studying in various Colleges outside Kashmir near Chandigarh. More than 1200 students from JK are studying at Aryans Group of Colleges, Near Chandigarh. The new academic session has already been started and students have started reporting back to their colleges.
