NGK Spark Plugs (India) Pvt Ltd, a leading name in the spark plug technology, commenced its on ground campaign in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, named as "Salaam Ustaad". After gaining remarkable popularity in its first campaign in Rajasthan, this is the second campaign, launched from Kanpur and Lalitpur. The month-long campaign will cover 23 cities including Pratapgarh, Gorakhpur, Mau, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Allahabad and Jhansi. 

The purpose of this campaign is to connect with the mechanics of semi-urban and rural areas, train them about new generation engines like BS-4 or BS-6 and their high quality component requirements like spark plugs, glow plugs, sensors etc. 


Speaking about this initiative, Sudipto Sanyal, Vice President - Sales & Marketing, said, “being the expert of spark plugs technology we believe it is our responsibility to upgrade expertise level of mechanics about new generation engines on a regular basis. It will not only help the mechanics but also the vehicle owners.”


Sudipto added, “We are very excited to launch this campaign in Uttar Pradesh. We have also planned to initiate a digital awareness campaign through social media to educate the vehicle owners about regular servicing, best maintenance practices for safer ride and reduction in air pollution. 


In next 30 days, the NGK experts will meet the two-wheeler and four-wheeler mechanics in UP to educate them about the best maintenance practices while fitting and servicing cars and two wheelers. In order to increase the participation there are some interesting games and engagement activities for the mechanics.
