PTC Punjabi Film Awards is known to set the bar higher every year. With the cluster of breathtaking performances by Bollywood and Pollywood film stars, PTC Punjabi Film Awards is a combination of grace, glamour, stars and excitement like none other. The Award night held in Mohali recently. 


The event was anchored by some astonishing artists like Binnu Dhilon, Gavie Chahal, Simmi Chahal and Balraj Syal. It appeared to be a sky full of stars. Amongst the most popular and talented artists, Guru Randhawa left the audience grooving to his chartbusters.


For consistent seven years, the most loved and renowned of Hindi and Punjabi film personalities have graced PTC Punjabi Film Awards and grabbed the eyes of people. This year Prem Chopra, Rakesh Roshan, Jitedra Kapoor, Jimmy Shergill, Amrinder Gill, Neeru Bajwa, Elly Avram, Sapna Shaudhary, Nav Bajwa and many others graced the event.


Rabindra Narayan, MD and President of PTC Punjabi Network quoted, "Punjabi cinema has come a long way. From Chann Pardesi to Angrez, from Nanak Naam Jahaz Hai to Sajjan Singh Rangroot. The drastic period of 80s and 90s is long over and forgotten. The Punjabi Cinema has achieved a predominant position in the field of Indian cinema not only in the country but across the globe."

 

The megastar of Punjabi film industry Amrinder Gill made a starry entry and rocked the stage by performing on some punjabi dance numbers. Similarly, singing sensation Nav Bajwa crooned his hit numbers creating oh-so memorable moments. The event also witnessed captivating performances by Elly Avram, Sapna Chaudhary and many more.


The proud winners of the evening included Amrinder Gill for Film Lahoriye who bagged the Best Actor award, Sargun for Lahoriye won the Best Actress award while Lahoriye won the Best Film award. The Best Director award was given to Amberdeep Singh for Lahoriye.
